MINUTES OF SPTA MEETING

The 4 th General Assembly was called to order by Mrs. Marlou D. Borlasa ,


school head on April 19, 2024 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. It was started with a
prayer led by Ma’am Emmalyn Villegas, Grade 1 Teacher. SPTA President Gina Bajaro
gave her Opening Remarks. The agenda were presented by Ma’am Cherie B. Dolar-
Master Teacher II. She later presented the DRRM Updates. She talked about Interim
Guidelines and Mitigating Measures for Extreme Hot Weather Condition. She pointed
out that during the cancellation or suspension of classes, shifting to blended learning
modality and/ or modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects or make up
classes shall be implemented to ascertain that learning competencies are still met.

Ma’am Donabee C. Cerio, Kindergarten teacher presented the status of


the Early Registration for SY. 2024-2025 which was scheduled to commence on
January 27,2024 and concluded on February 23,2024. The SPTA fund updates was
reported by Ma’am Charribel Borres, SPTA Secretary. This was followed by the
presentation of School Program, Projects and Activities (PPA’s) by Ma’am Marlou D.
Borlasa such as class monitoring, staff meeting, LAC Session (Jan-March) and
Earthquake Drill.

This was followed by the words of the principal about the results of the
recently conducted Phil-IRI and ALNAT , wherein she requested all parents to assist
their children in reading, especially the non-readers. Giving 5 to 10 minutes time to
the children in reading is quite good before they sleep. She also mentioned the
schedule of the 4th Quarter Examination on May16-17,2024.

Later, Mr. Crisanto D. Corteza, Grade 6 Teacher presented the committee


he drafted for the upcoming Graduation Exercises 2024. Teachers approved
the task assigned to them.

The next portion of the activity was the Quarterly Classroom Recognition
Ceremony and card distribution.

The meeting was adjourned at 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
