Hammurabi inspired every single political society to make rules. Eye for an eye was a term made by
Hammurabi. Despite being in place of much power, Hammurabi's code was generally pretty fair
compared to some other societies that came to be.
Farmers

The person too lazy to care for the dam

Possessions being divided among the affected farmers

It is very reliant on farms and trade.

A free born man is born outside of slavery and can be a freed slave's child or just a non-slaves child. A
slave is apart of slavery.

Pay one mina

Get whipped 60 times in public

Striking the body of another free born man means that you are both of same class, so its less severe.
Hammurabi viewed social class as apart of structure, so disrespecting someone higher than you is a
crime. Hitting a man with a higher rank is much more severe.
No. People with more money are higher up in the social class making them more important. Hammurabi
thought that class meant a lot, so treated higher ranking people better. No one was equal unless your of
equal class.

She must stay

It gets returned to the wife.

The laws for women are either do or die, for men there is an in between.
Make sure people are in check and have order

Farming was important, slaves were important, women were somewhat treated like objects

Absolutely not. Lack of equality is bizarre and this level of it isn't even found in some of the most evil
Societies we know in history.
