INDO-PACIFIC MULTI-DOMAIN TASK FORCES

As of Dec 13, 2022

FACT SHEET
The 1st & 3rd Multi Domain Task Forces are Indo-Pacific aligned, theater level units. MDTFs
operate like traditional maneuver elements while also synchronizing precision fires and
effects in all domains to neutralize adversary A2AD (anti-access & area denial) networks.
MDTFs create windows of opportunity for Joint and Combined Forces by adapting and keeping
pace with the rapid evolution of kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities as they affect the 1st & 3rd MDTF MISSION

MDTF Soldiers are capable of employing

capabilities (in conjunction with kinetic
options when necessary) to degrade, deny,
disrupt, or destroy adversary A2AD
capabilities. They are proficient in analysis
