• Acquire and enhance technical skills related to mechanical field, including
understanding industry-standard processes, tools, and technologies.

industrial scenarios, bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical

4.1 INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE AND WORKS

Day 1 (24/06/2024)

Warm up and introduce about the industry, equipments and industry’s operation

Day 2 (25/06/2024)

They teaches how to place the material on the correct part of bed with the stable and

how they program and feed the input in the laser cutter. To measures the length of MS,

SS, AL Metals. And to watch the working process of laser cutting. To set up the laser

cutter.

Day 3 (26/066/2024)

I practiced the proper procedures for Lens cleaning and Rail cleaning

Day 4 (27/06/2024)

They teaches to operate a CNC press brake by first setting up the machine parameters

and ensuring safety protocols, then accurately positioning the workpiece and using the

foot pedal to control the bending process. Regular maintenance and calibration were

also key to ensuring precise operations.

Day 5 (28/06/2024)

I studied and learned the detailed process of drafting a top plate drawing. I became

proficient in interpreting technical drawings and translating design specifications into

accurate sketches I also gained insights into the importance of dimensional accuracy

and tolerances in engineering drawings. This experience strengthened my

understanding of how top plate drawings contribute to overall project quality and

functionality.

Day 6 (29/06/2024)

I practiced to draw a top plate using AUTOCAD. I developed skills in creating precise 2D
drawings by interpreting design specifications and applying various AutoCAD tools. I
practiced setting layers, dimensions, and annotations to ensure clarity and accuracy in the
drawings. This real time practice improved my proficiency in AUTOCAD software and
enhanced my understanding of technical drawing standards.

Day 7 (01/07/2024)

I learned about the OREE laser cutting machine primarily utilizes high-grade O2 gas and
fiber lasers for cutting a variety of materials. It can handle metals such as stainless steel,
aluminum, and mild steel. The machine offers precision cutting, ensuring clean edges and
intricate designs.

Day 8 (02/07/2024)

I learned about the operational mechanisms, including setting up machines, caliberating the
laser, and selecting appropriate materials. I observed the precision cutting for handle metals
and how to modify cutting patterns, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Day 9 (03/07/2024)

I practiced laser cutting mild steel using the OREE laser cutting machine. My primary tasks
included setting up the machine and calibrating it for precise cuts. I worked with ensuring
accurate dimensions and clean edges.

The machine's advanced O2 gas and fiber lasers allowed for high precision, essential for
detailed designs and tight tolerances. And the dimension PL 3Thk, quantity 06 nos
F8L00613. I utilized AUTOCAD software to design and modify cutting patterns, optimizing
material usage and reducing waste. Part of my role involved measuring and verifying the
dimensions of the cut pieces to ensure they met specified requirements. This hands-on
experience gave me a solid understanding of the technical intricacies and operational
efficiency of the OREE laser cutting machine.

Day 10 (04/07/2024)

I have learned valuable insights into materials and folding processes using a CNC press
brake. Initially, I was trained on the basics of machine setup, safety protocols, and material
properties. I worked with various materials understanding their unique properties and
suitability for different applications. Hands-on experience with CNC folding techniques.

Day 11 (05/07/2024)

I learned about the working and mechanism of CNC press brakes. Initial training covered
machine setup, safety protocols, and the fundamentals of CNC programming. I gained
hands-on experience with the CNC press brake, focusing on tooling selection, alignment,
and various folding techniques such as air bending and bottom bending. Understanding the
hydraulic and mechanical systems of the press brake was crucial. I also learned to
troubleshoot common issues like material spring back and tool wear. My experience included
maintaining the machine and ensuring precision in folded parts through quality control
processes. This internship provided a comprehensive understanding of CNC press brake
operations, significantly enhancing my technical skills and problem-solving abilities in a
manufacturing setting.

Day 12 (06/07/2024)

I gained hands-on experience working with a CNC press brake. I started with training on
machine setup, safety protocols, and basic operations. I learned to select and align tooling,
program the CNC for specific bends, and execute various folding techniques. My tasks
included material handling, ensuring precision in each fold, and troubleshooting issues like
material spring back.

I was responsible for maintaining the machine and adhering to strict quality control standards
to produce accurate and consistent parts. This experience gave me a comprehensive
understanding of CNC press brake operations and significantly enhanced my technical skills
and problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing environment.

Day 13 (08/07/2024)

I had the opportunity to work with various machines gaining a holistic understanding of the
manufacturing processes. Throughout the day, I adhered to safety protocols and quality
control measures, ensuring all operations met the company’s standards. This diverse
experience on the final day provided a comprehensive understanding of various
manufacturing machines, significantly enhancing my technical skills and readiness for a
career in manufacturing.

4.2 GRATITUDE FOR THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT SPARK

I am deeply grateful to Spark Industry for the opportunity to work as an intern. This
experience has significantly enhanced my professional and personal growth. Working with
the talented and supportive team provided invaluable guidance through various
manufacturing processes. The hands-on experience with the CNC press brake and other
machinery was particularly enriching. The comprehensive training sessions and emphasis on
safety protocols and quality control were crucial to my learning. Engaging in problem-
