By the end of the lesson pupils were able to :
OBJECTIVE(S) 1.Create animals scrap book.
2.State 2 out of 3 animal names.
Pre Lesson
1.Secret Codes ( Bubble Map) – Pupils guess the animals name from the secret
codes and make the version of the animals with clay.
Lesson delivery
2.Pupils listen and say aloud the animal names.
3.Task 1: Listen and guess game – HOTS cards
e.g: Q1- big ears, four big legs, trunk, grey colour (elephant)
Q2- Long tail, small nose, four long legs, orange/brown colour (giraffe)
Q3- Two wings, small legs , sharp nose(beak),love to swim (duck)
ACTIVITIES
4. Task 2: Scrap Book
- In group of 4 pupils are ask to produce scrap book with teacher guidance.
-Pupils read and state the animals body parts
-Pupils colour the task given
5.Pupils need to help each other and complete the work based on instructions
given. (Discipline)
Post lesson
6.Gallery Walk - Each group will show their group work scrap book and audience
will leave a sticker emoji for comment.
