- Due to modern technology, manual labour will be cut down, which generates serious social problems by leaving
many blue collar workers jobless.
- Small businesses which can’t afford technology will not be able to compete and they will go bankrupt.
- Technology has also exposed us to cybercriminals and predators.
- Technology has made us isolated since we are getting more and more incapable of face-to-face communication.
- There are cookies which collect private data from our smartphones or computers and it violates our privacy.
- A lot of the information published online is inaccurate and unreliable.
CONS:
- Technology has become part of our lives in communication, education, healthcare, travel or business.
- Businesses that keep up with technology have gained a competitive advantage in the market since technology can
improve efficiency.
- A business can now expand and increase its production and reach its target audience at a low cost through modern
communication technologies.
- Communication has become so easy and cheap. Moreover, you can make internet calls for free. It is undoubtedly
faster, cheaper and more convenient than traditional ways of communicaton.
- Modern technology has made it easier for students to access academic material.
- Modern household devices, especially smart ones, can make our lives easier by saving us time.
Student: I disagree with the statement because both nusinesses and individuals use technology on a daily basis.
Technology has become part of our lives in communication, education, healthcare, travel or business. Today
business that keep up with technology have gained a competitive advantage in the market since technology can
improve efficiency.
Examiner: IT’s true, but the use of modern technology means that manial labour will be cut down, which is a
benefit to the business owner but also generates serious social problems by leaving many blue collar workers
jobless. Also, small businesses which can’t afford this technology will not be in a position to compete and they will
go bankrupt.
