1. Answer the following questions.
∙ Among the various kinds of interior design styles, which one do you like best? Explain your
answer.

Modern interior design style is the one that i choice in all style in interior design, because it's
so very awesome to have kind of style like modern, it can manipulate or can be playful of
this kind of design. modern style in interior design can be so refreshing for me and i know
that, we have a different kind of taste in styling of interior design but for me modern can
make me happy and can be look so refreshing to me and makes me call it a masterpiece. as
a artist i do love designing and makes me, be me in this kind of thing. so modern style in
interior is a one that's fit my taste in kind of art so i pick this style and it can help me to
explore more or can surpass my limit by designing a interior design
∙ How does interior design affect a person’s psychological aspect?
it can affect the environment in the house and the people itself. I think that, when
it comes in interior design in house. you will know their taste or the environment
itself in house by seeing of their design. example if you like a gothic style in
interior design it reflect the personality of a person so it can affect their
psychological aspect by adapting their perspective or personality in interior
design

∙ Give the corresponding advantages and disadvantages for each type


of house – condominium, townhouse, house and lot, and apartment.
There are several home styles available and each of them has its own pros and cons. A
condo has less maintenance and more amenities but comes with HOA fees and little if any
customization. A townhouse has a bigger size with its own backyard, but the walls are shared
with neighbors and offers no privacy. House and lot gives full freedom and privacy but is
also very labor and money intensive. An apartment is cheap and easy as there is nothing to
do maintenance wise, but does not offer space, privacy and customization. In summary, the
type of house will depend on one’s personal need, budget and living preferences.

CONTEMPORARY 1. An interior design style which is described as an
ever-evolving palette that echoes prevalent trends
and tastes at any given time.
APARTMENT 2. A rented residential unit that is part of one or several
residential buildings.
RED 3. A color which is said to be the “bad guy” of the home décor.
ELECTIC DESIGN 4. A design style that comes with a lot of variation and layering, deftly using
these to create an overall rhythm at home.
20TH CENTURY 5. The period where functionality became a key component in interior design.
ASIAN 6. An interior design style that focuses on cleanliness and serenity.
SOFT AND OPULENT 7. Words that describe the decorative accents for shabby chic décor.
FARM AND HOUSE 8. A design style which is all about keeping things organic and simple.
SUN 9. The best lighting source at home.
TOWN HOUSE 10.A single-family home that has either two or three thin floors
