A very Good Morning to everyone who has gathered here today to be a part of The Bishop’s KLN

STEM Club’s demo seminar!

Now I know that all of you must be wondering what on Earth is the STEM CLUB?!

It all started back in 11th grade for me where I had these moments of what I like to call ‘pure science
fiction’.

Every class ;equations ,formulae and concepts would just be racing through my head, where
everything seeming puzzling and daunting .Me getting to any answer that was correct was like square
root of -100, perfectly plausible yet quite imaginary. Despite all of this there was that little something
that kept my budding love for science and stem growing. You may call it zeal, you may call it drive, I
honestly don’t know. Whether it was the beauty with which HC Verma explains his concepts or how
stunning I looked in my lab coat(chuckles) I knew that I loved Science since the moment I chose it.

And so in that seemingly challenging pressure cooker, our wonderful Biryani(Passion personified) was
created. So this club was started last year and this year we as a team collectively share the vision to
spread science to as many people as possible and eliminate all fears associated with it. We want you
to have science as a part of your day to day lives and never be afraid of it. Our mission is to do so on
a global arena and we’ve decided to start off with the brilliant minds in our school itself.

We at the STEM Club believe very deeply in a quote by Albert Einstein when he said that “ The
important thing is to never stop questioning”. Questioning and discussions on interesting out of the
textbook science topics is exactly what forms the life of our club’s symposiums.

Today what we have prepared for you is an interesting session on Quantum entanglement and
Quantum Tunnelling which will be presented to you by our spectacular core team.

Now I’m going to hand it over to Tia who will give you the A-Z of the working of the club.

That’s Right/ Right Harshnni, At the Stem club we focus on simplifying complex science topics for
you…
