1. General

FiberHome’s family of Dome Heat Shrinkable Sealed

Fiber Optic Splice Closures is designed to simplify splice
management. The high quality closure is engineered to
reduce complexity associated with fiber splicing in the field,
thus reducing installation time and training. No adhesives,
drills or powered equipment for installation or re-entry are required. These durable, easy to install
closures will increase productivity, reduce labor expenses and last through the life time of your
network. With FiberHome’s proven Heat Shrinkable sealing technology, all Zhantong fiber optic
closures are suitable for applications in optical fiber networks such as track (backbone), spur
(branch) or distribution points.

2. Features

Cable entry section is single-sided pot structure which is suitable for space constrained hand holes
(also possible to be used in man-holes, telephone tunnels, wall-mounting and pole-mounting etc)
Closure adopts hoop/buckle mechanism which makes dismantling/assembling easy
Cable entry section can accommodate maximum 5cables (main cable1pcs, branching cable 4pcs)
Supports loose tube cable, slotted core cable, drop cable.
- Suitable for application in areas with limited space applications, too. (hand holes )
- Applicable for all networks.
- Fully Heat Shrinkable design, fiber reinforced PC plastic or equivalent
- Recommendation of life span for 15 to 20 years (depends on environment)

3. Applications
Closure is suitable for up to 192single fibers splicing, which can cover most of the applications in
the fiber distribution networks like Fiber To The Home / Fiber To The Curb
(FTTH/FTTC) .Underground, aerial, or pedestal applications are possible with this closure.

GJS-7002 has chemical and Heat Shrinkable resistance for all the application areas in the fiber
networks. Only butt configuration use.
