Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in the instrumentation & control system design, construction or operation of offshore oil and gas platforms and facilities, and a minimum of five (5) years of total instrument and control system design experience. Shall have an intimate and working knowledge of the applicable codes and standards and shall have been responsible for the instrumentation & control system design, analysis, and review of least one (1) similar system. Good understanding and interpretation of standard/code: American National Standards Institute (ANSI), American Petroleum Institute (API), American Gas Manufacturers' Association (AGA), Instrument Society of America (ISA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), International Electro technical Commission (IEC). Requirements :
Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (S1).
Shall have certification or training in electrical from accredited training institution. Shall have experience in a similar position for minimum 5 years. Good understanding and interpretation of standard/code for electrical equipment (NFPA, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, API, NETA, MTS, etc.). Has good knowledge in reviewing single line diagram, grounding-bounding- earthing system, and hazardous area classification. Familiar with Government requirements for inspection, certification, and calibration. Shall have experienced and familiar with procedures and requirements for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of Electrical equipment such as MCC, Switchgear, Transformer, Power Generator, etc. Have a valid Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area (EEHA) certification from a reputable institution such as CompEx or equivalent. Have trained about inspection of electrical equipment such as MMC, Switchgear, transformer, power generator equipment, etc by Government or accredited training institution. Preferably have experienced in new pipeline construction inspection. Familiar with flexible pipe/risers including its testing method. Familiar with corrosion protection methods for pipeline.

Familiar with relevant international standards and code. Having certificate of BGAS / NACE / INDOCOR / SSPC Coating Inspection Level II or equivalent. Have 5 years continues experiences in inspection of coating and painting for structures, piping, vessel, both internal and external coating. Have experience of coating degradation assessment in facilities according to ISO or ASTM Have good understanding of surface preparation method, coating application method and coating inspection method. Capable of identifying and determining kinds of coating defects. Have good understanding and interpretation of standard/code for coating and corrosion as per API, DNV, NACE, SSPC etc. Hands-on experience with inspection tools for surface preparation and coating application.
