1. INTRODUCTION
that have just finished their diploma namely Nurul Iwana Farhah as the project
writer and Mohd Hamizan as the audio specialist. Moving on to the reason why
the team members has decided to name their company as Inventive Sense was
because of two main things. First, The members chose Inventive to show the
combine it with sense to show how keen the members are to identify any
they have taken CSC253 subject and thought of an alternative for other
looking up for informations on the internet using their gadgets rather than a
book because it is faster and easy to access. Thus, they decided to create an
application to learn about text in a simple, easy and enjoyable way which is
application that is easy, simple and fun to learn. We want to avoid creating a
complicated text application that could ruin the students' interest in learning
about text. To begin with, we start by asking the students whether they think
that text is important in multimedia. Most of them stated that text is not
element in multimedia. Our team also has made another survey on what kind
of learning application that the students are interested with. The result was, 3
out of 4 students said that they want a learning application that is easy to
learn.

Student's interest are different. Thus, it is hard to predict and fulfill what they

The scope of age for our application is for the adults that ages between
18 to 39
years old. The reason why we are focusing on the adults is because the
application is generally for the adults to improve their ability in using the text.
Moreover, people around this age usually interested in simple and minimalistic
design which makes it more fair and suitable for people around this age.

then testing and delivery. While in the making of the multimedia text
application, we have found out that there are few textbooks about multimedia
text that has been published globally such as Multimedia: Making It Work by
Tay Vaughan that are used by students that studies multimedia subject around
the world. One of the topic in the textbook is text where it explains and
provide a detailed information about text. There are also exercises that the
students can do to test their knowledge about each topics. Meanwhile, our text
application provide a brief and understandable notes for the students. Our
team also make sure that we put a few animation and interesting graphic
design that is suitable and enjoyable for the students. Not to forget, our team
has included exercises in the application after the students has learn every
small topics which purposely to help the student to memorize and adapt to
multimedia text questions. Textbooks are usually heavy to bring and some
people have a hard time reading a book. However, with the existance of our
application the students and teachers has the alternative to learn and access
the multimedia text application anytime and anywhere. To avoid the application
informative and fun where it contains exercises, puzzles and quizzes. Besides,
the application contains menu, extras, credits and start buttons that are
clickable. Moreover, Text, graphic, sound, animation and video are managed
very well by the members of our team. Thus, we were very happy with the

Testing
Before distributing our final product, we will pretest it by asking few students to
try the application. On week 10, we will ask students to try the alpha testing of
the product, then beta testing which will be on week 11. Besides, our team
make sure to write it in the report to see how far we develop and improved.
Our team will also get as many of the feedbacks from the students on what can

If the final product has been tested and there is no more technical problems
occurred. Then, our team will deliver the products by a CD-ROM to the
