Please find the USB Pen Drive of the machine, containing all the documentation
and software needed, inside the keys bag.
Run the Maticard Pro software installer file in the USB Pen Drive folder
Software\Maticard Pro, then follow Paragraph 1 procedure. Maticard Pro
software is installed in the following folder: C:\MATICA\Programs\Maticard Pro.
Copy the machine configuration file (.mpm), placed in the USB Pen Drive root,
into the C:\MATICA\MACHINE\MP_Files folder.
Copy the configuration license file (.lic), placed in the USB Pen Drive root, into
the following folders: C:\MATICA\MACHINE\MM_Main.
Run Maticard Pro Installer file from Machine USB Pen Drive directory:
Software\Maticard Pro\Maticard Pro Installer
Select the S5200 model and its software components, then click Next.
S5200 model setup installs also MM Main by default.
If Maticard Pro, MM Main or McTask Pro are running, choose the option
Automatically close the applications and click Next.
The Setup creates the following links on Desktop and Start Menu: MATICA
folder, Maticard Pro, MM Main and MCTask Pro MCH1 links.
The MATICA folder tree has changed. Anyway, if the old tree is already present
into the PC before installation, the Setup keeps the previous tree structure.
Copy both OptCharRecogB (OCBRR) and OCR A Extended (OCRAEXT) font files,
from Software\Maticard Pro\Maticard Pro Installer\Fonts folder on Machine USB
Pen Drive.
Be sure that the two font files are placed into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
Power on the machine turning the main switch to I position, then plug the USB
cable to the computer and to the machine connector with the PC label.
Main Switch
When the USB Serial Converter driver installation is completed, click Finish.
The port assigned by the PC to the USB driver must be changed in COM2 Port.
Right-click the My Computer icon and select the Properties command.
Select the Hardware tab of the System Properties window an click Device
Manager.
Select the Port Settings tab of the Properties window and click Advanced.
Select the COM2 option into the COM Port Number combo box of the Advance
Settings window and click OK.
Be sure that no other device will be already set on the COM2; otherwise a
Communication window will be displayed, asking if the PC has to continue with
the COM setting change.
Check in the Device Manager window that the installed USB Serial port is now
assigned to the COM2.
Accept the terms in the License Agreement and then click the Next button.
Check that the USB Smart Card Reader is present in the “Smart card
readers”.
Click Next in the NFC Reader Writer InstallShield Wizard copyright window.
Accept the terms in the License Agreement and then click the Next button.
Check that the SCL3711 reader & NFC device is present in the “Smart card
readers”.
Starting from Windows 7, Microsoft included some new features in the Smart
Card Service.
If the deployment uses only non-Plug and Play smart card solutions, smart
card Plug and Play can be disabled by a local administrator on a client
computer. Disabling smart card Plug and Play prevents smart card drivers, also
known as smart card mini-drivers, from downloading and prevents smart card
Plug and Play prompts.
Perform the following procedure to disable smart card Plug and Play in local
Group Policy.
Right-click Turn on Smart Card Plug and Play service, and then click Edit.
Run the MM Config program from the Matica folder of the Start menu.
Otherwise, if the machine configuration file .mpm is more recent respect to the
Master_MachineConfig.xml file version, a warning message will be displayed
advising that the configuration editing will be disable.
In this case the Master_MachineConfig.xml file version must be updated.
Now in the MM Config window click Save to store the machine configuration
file .mpm into the C:\MATICA\MACHINE\MP_Files directory.
Save a second copy of the MPM file (e.g. S5200) in order to keep the factory
original unchanged.
Now digit the Job name and select the Layout properties tab.
Click Open and create a test mpl layout file name in the displayed window.
To test the machine functionality, save the empty job selecting the Save
Layout and Exit command from the File menu in the Maticard Editor window.
Click Save in the Job Edit window and the new job will be displayed
into the Maticard Pro window.
Click the Reset button and the machine will restore all the modules.
Load some cards into the Feeder module; then click Production button in the
Maticard Pro window and the Start cards production window will be displayed.
