1. The area of Rectangular sheet is 500 cm2. If the length of sheet is 25 cm, what is its width? Also find
perimeter of this sheet. (2)

2. A wire is in the shape of square of side 10cm. If a wire is rebent into a rectangle of length 12cm. find its
breadth. Which encloses more area, the square or rectangle? (4)

3. Find the perimeter of rectangle whose length and breadth are 150cm and 1m respectively. (2)

4. Find the cost of fencing a square park of side 250m at the rate of Rs.20 per meter. (2)

5. One of the side and corresponding height of a parallelogram are 4cm and 3cm respectively. Find its area.

7. Find the cost of fencing a rectangular park of length 175m and breadth 125m at the rate of Rs.12 per

8. A door frame of dimensions 𝟑𝒎 × 𝟐𝒎 is fixed on the wall of dimension 𝟏𝟎𝒎 × 𝟏𝟎𝒎 . Find the total
labour charges for painting the wall if the labor charges for painting 1m2 of the wall is Rs.12.50. (3)

9. Pinky runs around a square field of side 75m. Bob runs around a rectangular field of dimension 105m by
65m. Who covers more distance and by how much? (3)
