Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics II

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson the pupils should be able to:

a. follow the steps in dividing 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number;


b. solve 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number without remainder;
c. appreciate the value of sharing one’s own life;
d. perform the operation of division.

A. Review
-The teacher will ask the pupils about
the previous topic on what they had
learn and will provide an activity.
-The teacher will call one pupil to read
the direction.
(Directions: Identify if the encircled digit
is a Dividend, Divisor, or Quotient. Write
your answer on the space provided.

Very Good! All your answers are correct! Do you


have any question in our previous lesson?

B. Drill

Let’s have a game!


I need 3 representatives from each group.

I have here a basic division equation on the


board. All you have to do is to give the
correct answer.

From a line, the first pupil in the line will


answer first, followed by the second and up
to the last member.

The group who will get the highest score will


be the winner. I’m going to rate you
according to your speed and accuracy.

Is that clear?

4. Fixing Skills
-Class, I’m going to group you into two groups.
But before that, what are the standards to be
followed in having a group activity?

-I have here an envelope, each envelope has an


activity card and the materials you will use in a
group activity. All you need to do is to analyse
the given problem and find its quotient. The
leader in the group will present their work.

- I will give you 5 minutes to finish your work.

- I will rate you according to your speed and


accuracy.
