TOPIC 2: DESCRIBE THE WEATHER IN YOUR HOMETOWN.

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. My full name is PHAN MINH HUY. I
am from QUANG NAM, and I am nineteen years old. I am a student at FPT Polytechnic
and my major is control enigneering and automation technology.
My hobbies are watching the sea and listen to music. Today, I would like to talk
about the weather in my hometown.

Weather in my hometown. My hometown is QUANG NAM. In the Central of


Vietnam. My hometown is a plain with a tropical monsoon climate, with many rivers
flowing through such as Huong River, Thu Bon River, ..., specializing in growing rice and
vegetables such as beans, corn, potatoes and aquaculture.
Next, I want to talk about the weather in my hometown. My hometown has four
seasons. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring, the weather is usually
very warm, creating a pleasant feeling. In summer, the temperature is usually high and
often very hot. In autumn, the temperature begins to decrease, creating a cooler and more
pleasant feeling than in summer, many trees begin to change color and many types of
flowers bloom, creating a beautiful natural landscape. In winter, the temperature often
decreases, there are many sudden cold spells and many heavy rains causing floods. In
spring, people start the new crop, farmers often sow seeds, plant trees and prepare to clean
their houses to welcome the Lunar New Year. In summer is the ideal time for beach trips,
picnics or participating in outdoor activities. In autumn, people often participate in
outdoor sports activities and it is also the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In winter, due
to the cold weather, people often keep their bodies warm and prevent diseases. I like
summer the most because the hot weather is ideal for picnics, camping and swimming. Of
course I hate winter the most because the winter weather is very cold and there is heavy
rain causing natural disasters, storms and floods that cause great damage to people. Yes,
Of the four seasons, winter has the biggest impact on people's lives because it causes
natural disasters, storms and floods that threaten people's lives. I want to have 2 seasons:
spring and summer in my hometown.
