Abstract: The format of this paper and the instructions shown give the guidelines to prepare the paper to be included in the Second International Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management ILSCM 2005 to be held at SMS, CUSAT, Kochi, India. The proceedings of the conference are to be printed by the end of Oct 2005 and the proceedings will be given to the registered participants on the first day of the Conference along with the conference kit. Manuscripts previously submitted or accepted elsewhere for publication must not be submitted. A certificate on the following lines is to be submitted by the main author together with the manuscripts. This is to certify that this paper has not been published and is not being considered for publication by any other organisation or journal and that myself or one of the co-authors will present the paper at the ILSCM 2004 conference.
