Preamble :
The Economic And Social Council,

Recognizing the action for sustainable development being a major resource for the 2030
agenda for sustainable development,

Recalling resolution 70/1 which established the 17 sustainable development goals,

Deeply Concerned by some of these challenges faced while implementing sustainable


development including climate change energy consumption waste production threats to public
health and poverty,

Emphasizing the importance of sustainable urbanization,

Recognizing the efforts of The Economic And Social Council and United Nations,

Affirming the past actions taken by the United Nations the 2030 Agenda,

Operative clauses:

1) Requests the United Nations to provide funds for more sustainable urbanization projects;

2) Calls Upon the International community to address these issues urgently;

3) Encourages the stable support from veto power countries and the United Nations;
4) Further Notes to support other countries to promote sustainable urbanization ;

5) Advises to prioritize alternative methods of transportation like public transportation and


walking;

6) Urges to switch to renewable energy options;

7) Further resolves to create a green eco city project to make more green infrastructure and
promote sustainability;

8) Encouraging mixed use development that combine residential commercial and recreational
spaces that can reduce the need for for long commutes and promotes vibrant walkable
neighborhoods this forsters community interaction and supports local economy;

9) Fully believing in promoting disaster preparedness and sustainable practices;

10) Welcoming comprehensive recycling programs;

11) Emphasizing energy efficiency standards in building codes;

12) Further recommends eco urban- planning;

13) Calls for the practical implementation of constructing modern and sustainable settlements;

14) Declares designing pedestrian friendly and compact infrastructure.
