Note :—(1) All questions are compulsory.
(2) All questions carry equal marks. (16 marks each)

1. (A) Explain the key elements of organizational structure. Vidarbha Company wants to open a
new departmental store in a rural area, being a consultant which type of structure (organizational
design) you will suggest to the company for a departmental store and why ?
OR
(B) Explain the concept of organisational design. Determine a suitable organizational design for
a manufacturing company.
2. (A) Identify the components of your behaviour as fresher in a service sector company, that would
affect your performance in the organisation.
OR
(B) “Females driving an Auto rickshaw are breaking the gender stereotype”. Explain the various
perceptual errors and justify the above statement by highlighting the stereotype error in
detail.
3. (A) As a Manager what steps would you apply to motivate your employees after observing them
performing not as per the expectation ?
OR
(B) What is Leadership ? State its necessity in business organization. Distinguish between Trait
Theory and Behavioural Theory.
4. (A) In an organisation, there is a team of 10 members from quality control department, who meet
to discuss on issues in quality control and upgradation. State what factors will determine
the success of this team.
OR
(B) “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is
success.” Analyze the above statement highlighting the importance and benefits of teamwork
in a start-up.
5. (A) A company is planning on cost of promotional activity of new product, due to which conflict
has arisen between two senior managers. State and explain what all techniques can be used
to resolve this conflict.

(B) Explain the various causes for change in organization and explain any four approaches to
manage the organizational change.
