2. Sergei Esenin Award -2019
Was honoured with the International ‘Sergei Esenin Award-2019’ for contribution in popularising Russian Literature in India. The
award was instituted in memory of great Russian poet Sergei Esenin jointly by the Moscow State Esenin Museum, Russian Federation
and the Russian Cultural Centre in Trivandrum (under the Cultural Department of the Russian Embassy in New Delhi). The award
comprises of a bust of Sergei Esenin (by Aleksander Rotnovskiy), a citation and medal. It was presented in the Festival of Russian
Language & Literature Festival held in Thiruvanthapuram on 11.12.2019
