Role: Backend Developer Intern (6-Month Internship with Full-Time Opportunity)

Location: Andheri, Marol (Mumbai)

Job Responsibilities:
· End-to-End Development: Take ownership of backend tasks and assist in building, testing, and
refining our services and systems.
· Troubleshooting & Debugging: Investigate production issues related to customer-facing
features, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
· Database Optimization: Write and optimize MySQL queries for better performance and
efficiency.
· System Design & Architecture: Collaborate with the team to design and build scalable,
high-performance backend systems used by millions of users.
· Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure the
backend aligns with business needs and product goals.
· Iterative Improvement: Use real-time user feedback (both internal and external) to
continuously improve products.
· Agile Development: Engage in the full software development lifecycle — from discovery and
design to development, testing, deployment, and debugging.

Requirements:
· PHP Skills: Solid understanding of PHP for web scripting and backend development.
· Database Knowledge: Experience with MySQL databases and a strong focus on performance
optimization.
· JavaScript: Basic proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of its role in backend
development.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Cloud Exposure (Optional): Experience with cloud services like AWS is a plus.
· MVC Architecture (Optional): Familiarity with MVC architecture is a plus.
· API Development: Exposure to building and working with APIs (RESTful services).
· Security Fundamentals: Basic understanding of web security and best practices.
· Data Structures & Algorithms: Familiarity with common data structures and algorithms.
· Ownership & Responsibility: Take ownership of backend services, ensuring the best
performance, code quality, and maintainability.
· Passion for Tech: Eagerness to learn, grow, and stay updated with emerging technologies.
· Team Player: Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
