3) Why have you selected to study this course?
This course will be helpful to me in my career enhancement, as I have studied Bachelor of
Engineering in Civil and have selected to stay Graduate diploma of Engineering Civil, this is a
natural progression to my studies. In my bachelor’s degree I could only learn the basic
concepts of Structural analysis and design, Infrastructure planning, Engineering Ethics and
Material testing and in the graduate diploma course I will be getting in-depth knowledge in
the field of Structure.

4) What research you did for selecting this course?

I went through various websites of universities in India such as PP Savani University, Parul
University and NIT University and the websites of NZ institutes such as MIT, NMIT and
WIIT and I concluded that I should study Graduate Diploma course from NZ because of
reasons such as quality education, reasonable fees, opportunity to learn the course with
the international students.

5) What modules you will study - and contents of modules.

I will study the Structure module. In this module, I'll go into greater detail about
investigating advanced themes in reinforced concrete and steel design, employing an
integrated approach to the design of typical structural systems, advanced approaches in
structural analysis, and design methods.

6) How this course will be helpful to him in future - career opportunities.

Through this course I will get advanced knowledge in the field of Structure which will help
me to secure a job in the field of Civil Engineering. I shall be able to work as a site Engineer.

There are lot of students who do this programme but with the additional skills that I will
gain through the learning with international students and learning from international
faculties in NZ will give me an extra edge over other students hence this course is
important for me to have a better career.

7) What skills you will gain from this course.

I will be doing my assignments with the international students from all over the world which
will help me to develop skills in team management, discipline, planning, making strategies to
complete the given task, develop a plan and execute it.

Ans: Orientation will be on 11 February 2025 and Academic days will be start from 17 February
to till 28 November 2025.

Ans: Yes

12) Why didn’t you take this course in India?

Ans: Because only few private institutions provide the course and the education and learning
pattern in India and abroad is quite different. The course duration is longer here. I want to
have international degree which I can get only by studying abroad. Also comparing the cost
of studying in India and abroad is almost similar so I have decided to study international and
not in India. For better understanding about the concept which leads to better learning I have
chosen to study abroad.

13) How is this course going to benefit you?

Ans: I will have numerous benefits, including increased employment chances, hands-on
experience, earning potential, international exposure, and additional education.

Ans: After completing this degree, I plan to work for a construction company to gain
experience before returning to India and opening my own construction consultancy in my
area.

I hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. There are forty-eight modules in all, including
Geotechnical Engineering, Building Town and Planning, Structure Analysis, and Structure
Design. I learned the fundamentals of construction from this entire module, and I completed
a three-month internship at a road construction site last semester, for which I wrote a report.

Ans: After finishing my course I will go for my job search visa to gain good international
