ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

A very grateful gratitude to Almighty for having enabled me to complete my


research work in time despite my personal troubles and hazards.

I am grateful to my honorable teacher and guide, Dr. Mst Sabina Begum,


Professor, Department of Chemistry, Shahjalal University of Science and
Technology, Sylhet, for her encouragement, guidance and generous help throughout
the course of this research work. It’s a great honor and privilege for me to work with
her and to share her valuable knowledge and experience.

In this respect I do acknowledge my indebtedness and gratitude to Professor Dr.


Ashraful Alam, Head of the Department of Chemistry, SUST and to all
respectable teachers of Department of Chemistry, SUST for their invaluable advices
and knowledge.

I am especially thankful to Dr. Shamim Ahmed, Head of the Department of


Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, SUST for allowing me to use their lab
facilities.

Thanks also to all the laboratory technician and staff in the Department of Chemistry,

Grateful thanks to my beloved family specially my father, my mother and my sister
