1 Rich people think Big, Poor people think small, You probably try to make money the same
way your parents do
2 shoot for the moon even you miss you hit the stars, Stop complaining, analyze where
you’re spending too much money and adjust accordingly
3 Rich people admire the successful people but poor people resent the successful people,
Rich people learn from successful people but poor people think they already know, Rich
never hasitate to learn, Don’t despise rich people, Having a positive attitude towards wealth
and money is a prerequisite of attracting it. That doesn’t mean you should show off all the
time, but you can’t envy or mistrust current millionaires while hoping to become one yourself.
Thinking with such a scarcity mindset will block you from engaging with millionaires, learning
from their material and truly embracing what they have to teach you.
The 80/20 principle
...Richard Koch
1 People expect life to be fair and balanced, but it’s not, You might know that the 80/20
principle says that 80% of the results come from 20% of the work, But that’s actually a tough
thought to understand, We expect things to be linear, fair and balanced, but that’s not how
nature works.
2 The most important aspect any business can optimize is their product range, some
companies as little as the top 3 products ended up making over 50% of the revenue. You
could dramatically grow your business by focusing on these 3 top-sellers, but never make
any headway when you keep trying to sell the other 97 ones you have that don’t really get
traction.
3 You don’t need to have exact numbers to get the most out of the 80/20 principle, this
principle throughout the book is to help you use it in your own life as well, not just in
business, Of course it’s impossible to pinpoint the 20% of your friends that give you 80% of
the happiness, but your gut feeling provides a good estimate, this 80/20 principle can be
used to dramatically improve the quality of your life, by focusing on exactly that (as opposed
to quantity).
...Dale Carnegie
