Release Notes
The version number of software and firmware products consists of three digits (e.g. Software uniVision 3.0.0):
The following generally applies with regard to the compatibility of uniVision job files:
• For uniVision jobs, there are only two digits in the version number, as the job format does not change for
bugfixes (third digit changed).
• Jobs with a specific two-digit version number can only be opened on devices with a suitable version of the
firmware or set up using a suitable version of the software.
• After a firmware update with new features (second digit changed) on a device (e.g. Smart Camera), the
corresponding software version must be installed and existing uniVision jobs must be converted. Details
can be found in the operating instruction for the wenglor uniVision 3 software.
NOTE!
• Different feature versions of the software wenglor uniVision 3 (different second digit) can
be installed in parallel on Windows PCs.
• The software wenglor uniVision 3 can be installed in parallel to uniVision 2 software ver-
sions.
