I. RATIONALE:
This activity enhances students environment ethics and environment responsibility as part of their
subject in Philosophy in Human Person for the 2 nd Quarter. The objectives of this activity are the
following: 1. Show that care for the environment contributes to health, well-being, and sustainable
development, and 2. demonstrate the virtues of prudence and frugality towards the environment. The
event will be participated by the Grade 12- Lawin students (32 students) with one subject teacher in
philosophy. This will be on October 19, 2024 (Saturday) at 8:00am. The venue will be at Camp Dino,
Purok 7, Mayaon, Montevista, Davao de Oro. They are expected to plant 96 seedlings that consist of
Mahogany and Narra Tree. The event is half day and this will serve as their requirement in the
subject. They will be expected to submit portfolio that consist of the activity design, planning and other
details.
