This course aims to enhance all four Academic English language skills:

• Speaking
• Listening,
• Reading,
• Writing
This academic training modules is designed for student wo need to demonstrate their English language proficiency for further study.

READING

This section aims to strengthen reading skills essential for academic success.

• Skimming and Scanning: Learn techniques to quickly skim and scan various reading passages to identify key information.
• Text Elements: Identify and reproduce essential elements of a text in personal writing, enhancing comprehension and
writing skills.
• Question Types: Gain a deep understanding of different question types encountered in reading exams and develop
strategies for addressing them effectively.
• Vocabulary Context: Practice deducing the meanings of unknown vocabulary through context clues, improving overall
reading comprehension.
• Analysing Point of View: Recognize a writer’s perspective.
• Timed Reading Tests: Complete reading tests within the allotted time to build test-taking strategies and manage time
effectively.
