Remarks:-
1) 100% RT shall be done of repair seam segment, mark on RT report with R1,R2……. etc of same repaired seam segment.
General Notes :
1. Visual inspection of weld shall be carried out before offering for any NDE examination.
2. Repair of welds shall be carried out as per approved procedure and followed by same NDE technique, which revelead the defect.
3. NDE / PWHT requirements mentioned in the EITP/QAP are for information only. Refer drawing for detailed requirements.
4.. Hydrostatic Testing; HT shall be done at site, Test water temperarture shall be ambient but not less than 20°C. Maintain test pressure for at least 30 minutes
minimum.
5. Packing And Dispatch; Ends of tube stubs shall be covered with rubber caps after applying easily removable good quality rust preventive oil. Nozzle ends shall be
covered with wooden blanks.
6. Verify packing and loading of Deaerator Cum Storage Tank on the trailer before dispatch.
