1.

How would you characterize your overall experience of

student-generated videos on the course?
Honestly, it was pretty challenging but also really fulfilling. At first, the
idea of making videos felt overwhelming, especially with the technical
stuff, but once we got into it, I found myself actually enjoying it. This
project also forced me to think in new ways about the subject.
2. What are the benefits of using student-generated videos on
students’ motivation and engagement?

I think having to make these videos kept me way more engaged than a
typical project would. Knowing that others would watch what we
created pushed me to really understand the material and find interesting
ways to present it. Plus, working on a project that feels like a real-world
task — filming, editing, presenting — makes it more fun and helps me
stay focused.

3. What are the difficulties encountered when creating videos in

this project?

There were a lot of little challenges. Editing was definitely tough at first,
making sure the audio synced, choosing the right visuals, and figuring
out how to use the editing software. Then there was the pressure to make
everything look good and be easy to follow. Working around everyone’s
schedules was hard too; some of us had other commitments, so time
management was also a big issue.

4. How do you collaborate with your teammates? Please tell me

about the manifestations of that cooperation.
We had to communicate a lot, which was probably the most important
part of working well together. At the beginning, we divided roles based
on who felt most comfortable with certain tasks, like editing or speaking
in front of the camera. We had regular online meetings to check in and
talk through any issues, and if someone got stuck, the rest of us would
try to help out.
5. How do you evaluate your work as a team member?

I try to judge my work by looking at both my own effort and how I

helped the group overall. I wanted to be reliable, so I made sure to get
my parts done on time and kept open communication with the team. I
also wanted to support everyone’s ideas, not just focus on my own.

6. How do you connect your prior knowledge to your vlogging

goals?
I used what I already knew about the topic to make our video content
more accurate and clearer. For example, if I’d learned about a concept
before, I tried to explain it in a way that was simple but still correct. This
helped us make a video that others could understand easily. My past
knowledge also gave me ideas for examples and visuals to include,
which made the video more interesting and relatable.
7. What aspects of creating videos make you happy, excited,
curious, or interested?
Getting to add visuals, music, and even little details like transitions was
really satisfying. It was fun to experiment with different styles and see
how they affected the final result. Seeing the finished video was
probably the best part because we could actually see all our hard work in
action and get feedback from others.
