Firstly, I am very grateful for my group members for cooperating and making this School
Based Assessment (SBA) work. Secondly, I thank my teacher for helping me throughout
the process and giving helpful tips on how to finish the SBA. Thirdly, I thank my family

This Electronic Document Preparation and Management School Based Assessment is


done as part of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Examination. This School
Based Assessment is based on the Pearls Casino Hotel.

This School Based Assessment is comprised of a portfolio containing ten documents,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to share my thoughts on the wonderful
experience I recently had at the Pearls and Casino Hotel. My stay at your establishment was
nothing short of excellent, and I would like to express my appreciation for the quality of
service and hospitality I encountered throughout my visit.

From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere was immediately evident. The
reception area, with its elegant design and attention to detail, gave me the impression that I
had chosen the right place for my stay. The staff at the front desk were not only professional
and efficient but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They took the time to ensure
that all of my needs were met and that I had all the necessary information about the hotel’s
amenities and local attractions. Their warm and courteous attitude made the check-in process
smooth and enjoyable, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.

One of the aspects that stood out to me the most was the comfort and quality of the
accommodations. My room was impeccably clean, well-designed, and equipped with all the
modern amenities a traveler could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring
restful nights after busy days of sightseeing and work. The housekeeping staff did an
exceptional job of maintaining the room’s cleanliness during my stay, always ensuring that
everything was in order when I returned from my daily activities.

Another highlight of my stay was the hotel’s dining experience. The on-site restaurant offered
a diverse menu with a variety of options to cater to different tastes and preferences. The
meals were always delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet, in particular,
was impressive, offering a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes. The
restaurant staff were attentive, providing excellent service without being intrusive. It was
clear that the culinary team took great pride in their work, and it certainly reflected in the
quality of the food.
I would also like to commend the hotel’s recreational facilities, which were top-notch. The
gym was well-equipped with modern exercise machines, and the spa provided a relaxing
environment that allowed me to unwind after a long day. The swimming pool area was well-
maintained, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending some time there, taking in the beautiful view
of the surrounding landscape. These facilities enhanced the overall experience, making my
stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel’s location was another strong point. Situated in the heart of the city, the Rising Star
Hotel offered easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and dining spots. I found it
incredibly convenient to explore the local area, knowing that I could return to the comfort of
the hotel whenever I needed a break.

What impressed me the most, however, was the exceptional level of customer service I
received from all the hotel staff. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff,
or the concierge, every member of your team demonstrated a genuine desire to make my stay
as pleasant as possible. They were always available to answer any questions I had, and their
professionalism was evident in everything they did.

Overall, my experience at the Rising Star Hotel was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to
recommend your establishment to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious place to
stay. Your commitment to providing high-quality service and creating a welcoming
environment for your guests truly sets the Rising Star Hotel apart from other hotels.

I look forward to returning in the future and once again experiencing the exceptional

CONTRACT SURGERY
As per request I am pleased to provide you with the
information about the cataract to alleviate some of the
worries you may have about your forth coming
operation on September 30th,2024. I’m enclosing a
flyer which will provide the necessary details. Cataract
surgery are usually successful and the cataract will not
grow back. ‘You will be required to stay in the hospital
for 1-3 days’ recovery period ‘, for drops to be given to
you and for your progress to be monitored. New
spectacles at first will take a while to get familiar as
the eye adjust to the new prescription. Generally, it is
wise to choose reasonably small frames as the large
ones are thick and heavy, you will of course get advice
from our optician about the best frames for you. Please
do not worry about doing the surgery. In the next few
weeks you should be able to see more clearly than you
have been for years.
