To be used for all lifts less than 10 ton (1 ton = 1000 Kg). Complete a new lift plan each time a lift is set-up.
Exceptions are a lift that is being done utilizing an existing plan with the same persons signing on an original plan
for a repetitive lift with the same set up, weight of material to be lifted and position of lifting equipment – in
accordance with NEOM-NPR-SOP-34.0 Safe Use of Lifting Equipment and Lifting Accessories Procedure.

1 Is the lifting equipment set on suitably stable and level ground and outriggers fully extended
and are suitably sized outrigger pads by equipment type?
2 Are Underground Utilities verified and protection installed as required?
3 Pick up and drop paths identified?
4 Rigging equipment inspected?
5 Is the lift area around the lifting equipment adequately controlled?
6 Daily Boom Truck checklist, RAMS and Task Briefing Card complete and safe to commence
work?
7 Hook block latches fitted and working properly?
8 Correctly rated slings selected per rigging arrangement?
9 Correct spreader Bar or Beam installed (if applicable)?
10 Correct size shackles are installed?
11 Softeners provided at rigging bearing points (where required)?
12 Tag lines attached to control payload?
If answer is NO to any of these questions, DO NOT COMMENCE THIS LIFT
