22nd ANNUAL INTER COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC MEET 2024-25


From 5th to 8th November 2024
RULES & REGULATIONS
The Colleges participating in this Meet will have to send the detailed entries, duly signed with office seal, in the
prescribed Registration Form enclosed herewith addressed to The Principal, Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences,

Hubballi : 580022, Karanataka (India), so as to reach on or before 19-10-2024 [Mr. Arun Goudellar, Physical Education
Director, Contact No.9449418985).
All the under graduates, internees and postgraduate students are eligible to take part in this Athletic Meet without any
2 age restrictions. However, for selection of University Athletic Team the eligibility prescribed by the AIU will stand
mandatory.
A soft copy of the Registration Form duly filled in has to be e-mailed to [email protected]. Blank
3 Registration Form has been uploaded in RGUHS website to enable to download the same, if needed. Entries received
after due date i.e. 19.10.2024 will not be entertained.
Event Fees per athlete for each event is Rs.100/- and for each Relay Team is Rs.400/- which has to be paid while
4 sending entries through NEFT/UPI to Principal, KIMS, Hubballi at Canara Bank, KIMS, Hubballi with A/c
No.12412200009549 and IFSC Code.CNRB0011241. QR Code attached.
Each team shall be accompanied by a Manager. Teams should report at KMSIR,Hubballi on 04.11.2024 after 4.00 pm

and ensure the completion of Registration process.
Team Manager, on arrival, shall have to pay Rs.1000/- as security deposit, which shall be refunded at the time of

departure of the team after adjusting the cost of the damages, if any.
Teams have to bring their College Flag for the Marchpast. Marchpast is compulsary for all the Teams. Trophy will be
7 awarded to the best Marching team. Please note that the Team which does not participate in Marchpast will not be
allowed to take part in any of the Athletic Events.
An athlete can take part in 5 individual events (3 track & 2 field or 3 field & 2 track events) & relays. Competitions for

the following events will be conducted and entries may be sent to these events only.

9 An event which has less than 4 competitors will not be conducted.


10 Team for 4x400 mtrs Mixed Relay event should consist of two Men and two Women athletes of the same College.
11 Best Athlete & Team Championship in Men & Women sections will be decided on the following points :

Smoking, Druging & alcoholic consumption in the campus are strictly prohibited. Any indisciplinary behavior/
12 misconduct by any of the athlete will be viewed seriously and it will be referred to Jury of Honour & Appeal for
necessary disciplinary action.
Entry form may please be downloaded from www.rguhs.ac.in. Eligiblity Proforma duly signed by the Principal &
13 Physical Education Director shall have to be handed over during the Registration process. However, filled-in soft copy
of Registration Form should be e-mailed to [email protected] on or before 19.10.2024.
Generally protest are discouraged. However, protest may be accepted if made in writing as per Athletic Federation of

India Rule & AIU Rules duly depositing non-refundable fees of Rs.1000/- for each protest.
Please note that the 8 lanes 400 mtrs standard track at The KMCRI Sports Stadium, Hubballi, where this Athletic Meet

is being conducted is of Clay track and hence athletes should be prepared with kits necessary for such track.
Order of events & venue is subject to alteration. Athletes participating in 3000 mtrs Steeple Chase should report to the
16 Organising Secretary on 05.11.2024 at 10.00 am at the KMCRI Sports Stadium, Hubballi. They should carry spikes
suitable for Synthetic Track since this race will be conducted on Synthetic Track.
