ANALYZE

Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions

1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why
not?
 The established routines were effective in maintaining discipline and order in the
classroom. The teacher clearly communicated expectations and consistently enforced
the rules, providing structure and predictability. As a result, most students understood
what was required of them and followed the routines with ease.
However, some students exhibited challenging behavior, intentionally breaking the
rules despite the routines in place. For these students, additional strategies—such as
behavior contracts, targeted positive reinforcement, or individualized interventions—
may be necessary. Building positive relationships with these students, understanding
the root causes of their behavior, and providing opportunities for reflection can also
help redirect their actions toward more positive behaviors.

2. Which of the routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your
answer.
 The systematically implemented routines contributed to a positive and productive
learning environment by providing structure and consistency. Key routines included:
 - Starting and ending class on time.
 - Calling on students fairly and consistently to answer questions.
 - Providing clear instructions and expectations.
 - Using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
 - Addressing misbehavior promptly and effectively.
These practices allowed students to stay focused, understand expectations, and
engage meaningfully with their work. However, there are areas for improvement:
 - Clarifying expectations for independent work: The teacher could provide more
specific guidance on what successful independent work looks like to ensure
students remain focused and productive.
 - Increasing opportunities for participation: Encouraging greater involvement in
class discussions would allow students to express their ideas, deepen their
understanding, and build communication skills.
By refining these aspects, the teacher can further enhance student engagement and
ensure a more inclusive and dynamic classroom experience.

REFLECT

Reflect on the various routines observed.

1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?

ANALYZE

1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?

1. Students should always credit the directions regardless what type of action is to
be taken, directions are always the first step in something thus actions follow
resulting in either good or bad outcomes.
2. All ears should be audibly present in the classroom as the teacher starts to
speak, listening is not enough as it should be partnered with paying attention for
a successful learning.
3. Cheating is strictly prohibited and always must be avoided, copying one's work
also symbolizes cheating as it shows that one didn't do enough to be better.
4. Learning in the classroom is not only for the brain, it is also encouraged to be
polite to others as this develops our wholeness as a student and a human.
5. Tardiness is not welcome on the school premises, always be productive enough
for this step boost you forward into another level.
6. Knowledge isn't always just the key, having a great personality is also one of the
must for future success and respecting others in any way you could is the best
you could imply that you have been taught well in school. Relationship between
your classmates, teachers and other fellow students will be the greatest strength
that you could have to excel throughout your journey.

 The formulation of classroom rules depends on the specific needs of the classroom and its
students, but some common reasons for establishing rules include:

1.Ensuring safety and security: Rules help prevent accidents and create a safe space for all
learners.

2.Promoting order and discipline: Clear rules provide structure, helping students stay
focused and maintain appropriate behavior.

3.Creating a positive and productive learning environment: Rules foster an atmosphere

where students can engage actively and learn effectively.

4.Teaching life skills: Rules encourage values such as respect, responsibility, cooperation,
and accountability, preparing students for life beyond the classroom.

Classroom rules should be “clear, concise, and easy to understand”, ensuring that all
students know what is expected of them. Consistent and fair enforcement is essential, as it
promotes trust and accountability. When students understand the expectations and
consequences of their actions, they are more likely to adhere to the rules, fostering a
respectful and well-organized learning environment.

SHOW Your Learning Artifacts

Take some snapshots of the classroom routines employed by the Resource Teacher
which worth emulating. Tell something about the pictures.

In this picture, students work together in pairs and groups. They're very creative
in making their "Parol" project. It's a picture of teamwork, where everyone contributes to
creating a colorful and creative "Parol".

In this picture, students are excitedly participating in their activity, creating

a lively scene of involvement. The picture shows that everyone is excited about learning,
and each student adds to the colorful picture of classroom participation.

In this picture, the students are falling in line when entering and leaving the
classroom. With this, our resource Teacher wants the students to be more disciplined
and responsible every time they are walking inside the campus without making any
disrespectful acts to disturb other classes.
