urbanization. Housing plays a huge role in restore economic growth in any country, with
shelter being among key indicators of development. Growing prosperity has also
increased the demand for larger and better quality housing
With limited affordable housing options and the majority of the rental market controlled
by private investors, individuals and families face significant difficulties in finding
suitable and reasonably priced rental properties. A Rental House Management System

property owners. By providing a centralized platform, the system can streamline the
process of property search and rental agreements, offering a wide range of housing
options to prospective tenants.

properties and reliable tenant screening services, while tenants can access comprehensive
property information, including images and descriptions, to make informed decisions.
Overall, the implementation of a rental management system can address the existing
housing challenges in Malawi especially in urban areas by promoting fairness,
accessibility, and efficiency in the rental market.
The primary objective of this project is to develop a more streamlined and cost efficient
computerized system which makes the rental hunting process easier, faster, and a whole lot
less stressful. This should inform the potential customers/tenants about the type and size of
house/room available, price and proximity to facilities such as shops, churches/mosques,
