Wildfire and VBS Fake Tree Collection

This holiday season we are collecting fake trees …even if the lights are broken! As people start pulling out their trees
to decorate for Christmas, if they are old and need to be replaced, instead of trashing them, donate them! We will
use them for Wildfire and VBS!

United Ministries Winter Wonderland (December 7th)

Join us for Winter Wonderland, a festive event for our Housing program participants! The day includes a Santa
Shoppe for youth to pick and wrap gifts, a Decor Market for holiday decorations, family photos, a holiday movie,
and winter treats. Sign up to volunteer online here or reach out to Grey Register at [email protected] to
indicate your interest. Donate via Amazon wishlist here.

Sponsor a Family for United Ministries Giving Tree

This holiday season, make a difference by participating in our annual Giving Tree initiative, where we ensure that
our program participants and their families receive gifts to celebrate the holidays.
• Through Tuesday, November 5th - Sponsors will receive wish list information for assigned families
• Tuesday, December 3rd & Wednesday, December 4th - Sponsors will drop off gifts at UM
• Thursday, December 5th through Friday, December 20th - Volunteer opportunities to sort + wrap gift
items

• Sign up to sponsor a family as an individual, Sunday School class, etc. here or volunteer here.
• You can also reach out to Grey Register at [email protected] to indicate your interest in either of these.

Anyone who has upcoming opportunities they'd like to share with the congregation please reach out to Grey Register

TRIP TO THE PROCESSING CENTER
Tuesday, December 10th
We are excited again this year to take a trip to the
OCC Processing Center in Charlotte, NC. This is an
opportunity to see first-hand how each box is inspected
and packed for shipment. We will be volunteering while
we are there. If you would like to go on this day trip or
if you have questions, please contact Mary Arrowood at
[email protected].
