Statement of the Problem

This research aims to comprehensively explore and assess the Challenges of

Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Graduates in Seeking Career in tourism and

hospitality industry.

Specifically, the study aimed to provide answers to the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.2 Gender

1.3 Age

2. What are the challenges of the tourism graduates in seeking a career in tourism and

hospitality in terms of:

2.1 skill and ability;

2.2 knowledge gap;

2.3 job market competition;

2.4 industry career requirements?

3. What are the experiences of the graduates in searching for a job in the tourism and

hospitality industry after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism

Management degree?

4. Which among is the most prevalent challenge encountered by tourism graduates in

seeking a career in tourism and hospitality industry?

5. Is there a significant difference in the challenges of when analyzed according to their

demographic profile?
