26. Draw the locus of a point p which moves in such a way that the ratio is
always constant & equal to 4/7. The fixed point is 70mm Away from the fixed
straight line. Name the curve. Draw the tangent & normal to the curve at a point on the
curve 60mm fromThe fixed straight line.
27. An inelastic string of length 100 mm is to be wound around a disc of 40 mm diameter.
Trace thepath of end point string when it is wound without slip. Also draw tangent and
normal to the curve.
28. The throw of ball from a fielder on a cricket ground reaches the wicket keeper
gloves, following parabolic path. Maximum height achieved by the ball above the
ground is 31m. Assuming the point of throw and the point of catch to be 1m above
the ground, draw the pathof the ball. The radial distance between the fielder and
wicket keeper is 75m.
29. Draw the locus of a point P which moves in such a way that the ratio (Its distance
from a fixed straight line to Its distance from a fixed point) is always constant &
equal to 5/3. The fixed point (FOCUS) is 50mm away from the fixed straight line
(DIRECTRIX). Name the curve.
