Activity 2:

1. What can you say about the picture below? Explain your answer.

• Freedom for me means being able to make my own choices and express my
thoughts without being held back. It is about living life on my own terms and having
the chance to shape my future the way I want. With freedom, I feel empowered to
pursue my dreams and goals without unfair restrictions. It is also important
because it lets me stand up for my beliefs and values openly. However, I realize
that freedom isn’t about doing whatever I want whenever I want. I have to use it
responsibly, considering how my actions affect others. I think, true freedom exists
only when everyone has equal rights and respect for each other choices. It is about
creating a balance where I can live my life fully while respecting the freedoms of
others. Freedom gives me purpose and makes me feel that my choices truly
matter. For me, it is one of the most essential part of a fulfilling life.

2. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word
“freedom”?

• When I think and heard of “freedom,” it is having the ability to make my own
choices. It means I can share my thoughts openly and live without someone else
deciding everything for me. For me, freedom is being true to myself and choosing
my own direction in life. It let me work toward my own goals and dreams without
restrictions. Freedom also gives me confidence to stand up for my beliefs without
fear. Though, that freedom also means respecting other people’s rights and
choices. Also I believe freedom, happens when everyone can live without unfair
rules or limits. Freedom adds meaning to my decisions and helps me find
satisfaction in what I do. It is about having control over my life while respecting
others’ freedoms. This independence lets me focus on my goals and gives me
strength to achieve them. Freedom isn’t just about personal choices but it is about
ensuring fairness for everyone.

3. To what extent were you free as a student? Do you think it was fine?

• As a student, I felt somewhat free, but there were also limits. I could make
decisions about my studies, like choosing subjects or activities I enjoyed. However,
some choices, like class schedules or mandatory subjects, were made for me.
While I was able to choose friends and hobbies, I also had responsibilities, like
homework, that limited my free time. I believe these limits were fine because they
helped me stay focused and balanced. This structure guided me in making
responsible choices, which was helpful for my future. I did feel a sense of
happiness in being able to explore my interests within the boundaries set by
school. Having freedom within these limits gave me a chance to learn about my
strengths and goals. It was a good balance between independence and guidance,
allowing me to grow responsibly. Lastly, I think the level of freedom I had was
appropriate for learning and building self-discipline.

4. To what extent do you believe in freedom? (Consider social/political unrests).

• I believe freedom is really essential for everyone, but it should come with
responsibility. True freedom lets people express themselves and follow their
dreams without hurting anyone else. In times of social or political unrest, it is even
more essential for people to voice their concerns and seek change. However,
freedom shouldn’t lead to chaos or violence, which can happen during protests.
There needs to be a balance where people can express themselves while also
respecting laws and safety. When freedom is used wisely, it can help create a fair
society. But if it is misused, it can lead to problems and conflict. I think freedom
should be used to bring about positive change and unity, not destruction or
instability.
