PROJECT for EDUC 13

LEARNING INTEGRATION

Expected outcomes:
At the end of the term, the students must have:
1. Assimilated relevant concepts to professional education, field of specialization, areas of specialization and general
education; and
2. Practiced test construction and become more familiar with important terms as they read and prepare the test
questions; and,
3. Compiled the sets of questions as a class (1 compilation/class)

Directions:
1. Thoroughly read on the various topics assigned to you from various sources (textbooks, pdf copies with authors; or
online articles);
2. Then prepare thirty (30) items of multiple-choice type of questions with 4 choices on each of the topics assigned to
you;
3. Your assigned topic/subject matter may be found on the list attached
4. Questions should be rephrased and not copied verbatim from the source;
5. The items must be in the form of questions and not like a fill-in the blank or identification type; In other words,
questions must begin with any of these: What, Who, Which, How and Why.
6. Should you create any situational items, then it should be followed by the question.
7. Arrange the choices according to:
a. Alphabetical order, if the choices are proper names or single word terms;
b. Shortest to longest, if choices contain more than two words
8. List down the sources at the bottom of each topic;
a. Sources may be textbooks or the web pages
b. Listing should be in alphabetical order according to authors;
c. All sources should have authors; sources with no authors will not be acceptable
d. Format of reference should be this like the samples below:
For web sources: Author (year) Title of Article. Hyperlink
For books: Author (year) Title of Book. Country. City/Municipality, Province.

9. Margin should be 1.5” on the left (for binding) and 1” top, bottom and right side
10. Line spacing should be “single-space”; But there should be one single space before next item;
11. Font style should be Arial, 11points, normal face; all headings should be bold face.
12. All answer keys should be placed on the last page together with the references; in other words, if you have 4 pages
for the test, the 5th page should have both the reference list and the answer keys. The reference list should be
placed above the answer keys.
13. Prior to submission, you should be able to administer your test to two of your classmates
14. For both midterm and final projects, submission of final copy (ring-bound copy and edited) printed on short bond
paper is ON OR BEFORE THE DAY OF THE FINAL EXAM

RUBRICS for GRADING/SCORING


20pts – completeness and correctness: religiously followed directions; minimal spelling and grammatical errors;
10pts – organization: margin is observed; there is uniformity of font size and style; appropriate line spacing is followed;
10pts – timeliness: submitted 1 week before deadline = 10pts; submission 3 days before the deadline = 7pts; submission
2 days before the deadline = 5pts; submission on the deadline = 3pts
