Sheila's Day

Last Friday, Pn. Siti gave the class a lot of homework. When Sheila came home
from school at 1 o’clock, she told her mother. Her mother said she would help. This
made her happy. Sheila’s parents had planned to take her sister and her to the beach the
next day. They were going to have a picnic there. So, she had to make sure to finish her
homework that day. Only then could she enjoy herself at the beach.

After lunch, Sheila started on her English homework at two o’clock. It was hard
because wasn’t good at English. Her mother helped when she could not answer the
questions. Then, she read a story in the textbook. She asked her mother when she could
not understand some words. She was able to answer all the questions that followed.

It was almost six when she finished her homework. Sheila was happy with the
work she had done. She went to the kitchen to help her mother prepare dinner. She was
glad to have a mother who loves her. Sheila thanked her mother. She learned an
important lesson that day.
