TOPIC : Advantages and Disadvantages of Study Abroad

Currently, with the development of society. There is a growing trend that parents
opt for studying in another country as a means of educating children. They suppose
that it is very good and make children have life-changing opportunity, but many
people think that its drawbacks are various. This essay will examine both sides of
this tendency.
On the one hand, studying abroad is beneficial to students in several ways. Firstly,
Students are able to develop become more independent. When student study in
another country, they can approach much cultures of different nations. Because, at
the international high school, university attracted a lot of students come from many
places. Beside, children can make new friends and new good relationships.
Another benefit is that they also broaden knowledge and become more mature and
gain a lot of skills and experiences. Last but not least, in the new environment they
maybe seek for better job opportunities with an international qualification.
On the other hand, overseas students have to encounter plenty of challenges.
Absolutely, when they going to new environment and live in a strange country
results in homesickness and culture shock. Many student can't eat foods in school
because it has variety spices and foods. It is too difficult to eat everyday. In
addition, Children really remember about their parents and all old friends. So, it is
reason make them feel lonely and depressed. Moreover, many people tend to
introvert when they face to face with another person beacause of language barrier.
In conclusion, it is clear that studying overseas has its own merits and demerits.
Although drawbacks of learning overseas are various, students should learn abroad
to build a brighter future with a lot of opportunitys in profession.
