ONLINE ADMISSION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
About developing a application through which student from different location can access university information
and take admission using online admission system. Fill admission forms cost of travelling for student will be
reduced:man power will be reduced. This procedure is called as centralized admission process. In this online
admission process there is no need of any paper. Some of there features of this application are universities can
combine with other education institution and provide some operational efficiency for this software application
will work on both internal and external procedure. The job will be completed in time and it is also possible to
integrate other educational agencies if agreed upon comman data format.

I. INTRODUCTION
The aim of Online Admission System is to build a student registration system that will be completely automated
the process of new student registration in a university. Specifically system are implemented for faciliting complex
manual processes and that is exactly what we are trying to achive our system implement as per user requirement.
Our system will be handle document-submission, testing process and registration of new student. The system
will be web based and will have two modules i.e. (user) student and admin when student wish to enroll in the
university.
If they intrested in any cource they will be required to visit the university and can create a user account at the
adminstration block, this is the only part of the system. After verification of any nationally approved photo ID
proof a user account will be create and a scanned copy of ID proof will be uploaded into the profile. Then user
can upload all necessary documents on the webside from the convenience of their home and the system will be
automatically validate all the documents university will be able to schedule a test date after sucessful validation.
Student will be give the test as per the dates. The test result will be normalized and score will be immediately
published after the completion of all tests the system will be automatically publish merit list to indicate which
student have gained admission.
II. METHODOLOGY
Working:-
Basically, this online admission system allow new students to apply for taking admission in the institute.
Student can fill admission form from different location. Admin take appropriate action on all the admission
request, also approve the pending application after admin approval student are provided a login ID and
password. Then student can receive login ID and password also view their status of marks obtained in various
semester from time to time.
There are two modules in this system namely admin and student. Admin can add college details and cut off
list they can select student, register and remove student. User can login and view the college details and list of
various streams they can also apply to the respective college and get notification if they are selected.
Hardware requirements:-
It needs the system is controlled by large memory as possible so, the memory constraint in the server side is
extended up to 1 TB. RAM 512 MB .CPU : pentium VI processor.
Software Requirements:-
Operating system: Microsoft windows.
Front end: HTML, Javascript, bootstrap, PHP.
Back end: MySQL server.

Need of the System :-
Technology has impacted and integrated into every aspect of our lives including the education sector. As we
move into the digital age, it is imperative that educational institutes ensure that students and prospective
learners receive information about the courses and admission online. Today, most students and parents simply
the internet for course information and prefer to apply for the courses they are interested in online. The number
of student applying in different location. Bacically the student admission process is getting increased with
interested learners. In this senario is fast becoming increasingly difficult to handle such a large volume of
students in the traditional method. Manually system need a lots of time, manpower etc. here almost all work is
computerized so, the accurancy is maintaining backup is very easy. Hence the need for online admission is
inevitable.
Use of the System :-
The use of an online admission system ensures that existing traditional paper-based complex admission
system is transformed into an applicant friendly, efficient, time-saving, accurate, and transparent system at
affordable cost with greater speed.

IV. RESULT AND DISCUSSION
Fig.1 is The very first page of the system will display a login/Register page where the user will register themselves
to take the benefit of the online admission process. The page will look like this:-

Fig.2 about admission from, For example we are filling the from of rutuja pawar, here we have to insert the
information like student mobile no, there are two types of number, 1.telephone no and 2.mobile no. Add details
like fathers name, fathers occupation, fathers mobile no, mothers name, mothers occupation, mothers mobile no,
income of parents, addresses(correspondent and permanent), the address which is given by the student in which
type of area like rural and urban, nationality(SC/ST/OBC/GENRAL), Religion, score, enrollment no. and past
Qualification(ssc/hsc).

V. CONCLUSION
In This way we are going to develop college admission system, which is helpful for reduction in manual work so..
less manpower required. Student’s record can be access within few seconds , in account section our system
focuses on building an efficient and user friendly communication system for the educational institutions.
