Applications are invited from the eligible candidate for ‘Junior Consultant’ post for the unit of
Nephrology subject in the Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital of Brihanmumbai
Mahanagarpalika. This advertisement is published to fill the ‘Junior Consultant’ post on Contract basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

(1) Qualification and work experience:

Jr. Consultant should have a minimum of 2 years of experience after qualifying DM/DrNB in Nephrology.

(2) Jr. Consultant should have full time status in L.T.M.G. Hospital, Sion.

GRADE:

Lump sum total emolument will be Rs. 1,50,000/- per month.

AGE:

On the last date (13 /12 / 2024) of submission of the application by the candidate- Age limit up to 60
years for application.

THE DUTIES OF D.N.B. TEACHER GRADE-II (JUNIOR CONSULTANT):

To teach students as per the time table – Deliver lecture, guide and supervise practical work in the field
or laboratory.

To maintain class registers and attendance records.

To teach medical subjects to the students, supervise practical, clinical training, examine patients, their
clinical investigations, supervise and administer treatment, maintain records and conduct and guide
research work. To guide in diagnosis of patients, prescribe medicines, to perform and assist and
supervise in surgical operations, post-operative care, to update medical and surgical speciality.

To conduct and guide in research work.

To conduct examinations as required by the National Board of Examinations.

To Arrange Health Educations programmes for Urban Health Centres in consultation with the head of
the department of Dean, L.T.M.G. Hospital.

To work sincerely and honestly as D.N.B. Teacher Grade II and help D.N.B. Teacher Grade I, carry out all
duties assigned by the Dean, L.T.M.G. Hospital, Sion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. This appointment is purely on Contract Basis.

2. The appointment will be discontinues at any time if not required.

3. Appointments will be made as per vacancies and requirements. However, Hon. Municipal
Commissioner has right to cancel the selection list without giving any notice at any time.

4. Candidates who are in the Municipal Services must forward their application with the “No Objection
Certificate” from his / her Head of the Department / Institution.

5. A recent passport size photo must affix in the application with his / her own signature on prescribed
place.
6. Candidates must make sure that He /She has completed the qualifications and condition. Candidate
can be cancelled at any time and any stage, if candidate is not fulfilling the requisite qualifications and
conditions. He /She will be dismissed from the services if appointed and No correspondence will be
entertained.

7. Address of correspondence must be clear and complete with Pin Code Number, Telephone Number
and Mobile Number with E-mail ID must be quoted in the application. Aadhar card copy should be
attached.

8. Candidate should have working knowledge of Marathi Language.

9. A Candidate must submit attested photo copies of School Leaving Certificate, Birth Certificate,
Domicile Certificates, Educational Qualification Certificates, For marries female candidate Marriage
Certificate, Gazette Copy of Name Change. If it’s not available, marries female can apply with their name
before marriage. Candidate must finish attested photocopies of Undergraduate and Post Graduate
examination passing certificate.

10. Selected candidate will be appointed in any L.T.M.G. Hospital, Sion where post-graduate D.N.B.
Programme has been proposed and may be transferred, if required to any other such Institute under the
jurisdiction of Greater Mumbai Municipal Jurisdiction.

11. Candidate can be cancelled at any stage of selection process or after selection process or after
selection if it is found that candidate is not fulfilling the requisite qualification prescribed for the post or
in case of false information / certificates/ papers or hiding of required information.

12. There will be a Technical break after every SIX months and the contract will be renewed annually.

13. Candidates must remain present at their own expenses for the Interview.

14. The Municipal Commissioner M.C.G.M. has right to stop selection process at any time and at any
stage.

15. Candidate must submit Bond on stamp paper of Rs 500/- INR in prescribed format along with Legal
Charges as applicable.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION:

1. The applications are available on cost of Rs 710 + 18% Gst in the Cash section at room no. 15, Ground
floor, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College Buiding, Sion, Mumbai – 400022 from Monday to
Friday from 02 /12/2024 to 13/12/2024 at 11.00 a.m. to 15.00 p.m.

2. The applications will be accepted in the Central Dispatch section of LTMG Hospital & Medical College
Sion, Mumbai 400 022 from Monday to Friday from 02/12/2024 to 13 /12/2024 at 11.00 a.m. to 16.00
p.m.

3. The Candidates are requested to bring their all Original Certificates at the time of Interview for
verification.

4. The Interview schedule will be communicated through applicant’s E-mail.

5. The Photocopy of the application fee receipt to be attached with the application. Application will not
be accepted without paying the application fee.

6. The applicants are requested to mention their clear Mobile Nos. & E-mail address on the first page of
application.

7. Application received after prescribed date & time will not be considered and any correspondence in
this matter will not be accepted as well.
