Introduction
My field study experiences brought me different realizations about teaching
profession. It also taught me how to be hardly patient when it comes in handling
students because there's a lot of circumstances that are possibly tests your
kindness, bravery, as well as your sense of responsibility as a pre-service teacher.
Within my observation for almost three(3) months, I experienced several
circumstances regarding what's happening inside the classroom.

The level of understanding and values of each learners are truly different from
each other for the reason that some of them are already good in reading and
comprehension but others are not. Some of pupils doesn't know how to
pronounce even a single word and the reason why is because of 2 years of not
having a face to face classes due to covid-19 pandemic where the teaching and
learning process are only circling through modular and online platform and the
teachers also cannot be able to teach learners effectively and also the learners were
not be able to focus on their tasks and be able to learn as well. Through this
experience, I was able to gain a lot of lessons that I might be used in the future, I
have given an opportunity to bond with the pupils and also got to know not only
their names but also the personality they have, I already knew it even for the short
period of time and I am very thankful that I had given an opportunity to
experience those. I must say that my field study journey were not yet completed
but I'd already fulfilled the first chapter of it, and I was so much thankful and
grateful for achieving this kind of task and also goal as I called.

My field study experiences gave me an opportunity to explore other things that is

outside from my comfort zone. This kind of experience give me a lot of lessons
that I'll forever thankful for because it helps me to become a better individual and
it made me realized as well that teaching learners were not absolutely easy but you
have to take risks for you to become brave to face any of those challenges that may
come in your way in this field of teaching. And as a student who will become a
teacher someday, I will never be tired to learn and learn until I will have a chance
to share those knowledge to anyone who also very eager to learn and become
educator someday.

My Beliefs on Teaching and Learning as a pre-service teacher was

teaching is not only about how teacher delivered the lesson or
required students to write what is written on the board, but rather
it's about how teacher will molds the whole aspects of every
learners. My beliefs on teaching and learning was also how the
teacher can handle the students and accepting their several
capacities when it comes in acquiring knowledge or a specific
lesson.

The learning happen when the students are able to do or express

their ideas and opinions independently, how do they perform to
such activities with self confidence because its also a big factor
that affects the growth of each individuals or students because
they were not be able to learn if they do don't have also courage to
do a specific task given them. So the learning was not only focusing
on the students capabilities but also for the teachers to have an
extensive guidance to each of his/her learners for them to be able
to learn on their own. And the teaching and learning will
successfully functions if both teachers and learners are responsible
for their several responsibility for the reason that it would never
have a good outcomes if one of these two aspects are not do the
same way, it's will always be a two to tango for having a successful
and excellent teaching and learning process. Teaching is a
responsibility of teachers that is also affect on student's progress
and development. The teachers are became the instrument for
each learners to develop their different abilities. And also Learning
is the learner's responsibility because they're the one who absorb
the knowledge and different ideas given by the teacher. The
learning will be useless if the students are not really interested to
learn that is why its very important to consider the teaching and
learning process for each students and teachers to know what
exactly they're lack with or need to have an early concern to
address it and give it an early solutions as well.

My reflection on field study areas I observe was the

environment of the school area where we observed is like a
normal setting of teaching and learning. It just like the other
schools that have different classrooms and facilities and also
have plenty of teachers. But the good thing about it is that the
atmosphere of school were not just an ordinary and I must say
that we're lucky its because almost of teachers there are nice,
kind and we didn't feel uncomfortable, also there is no
discrimination towards the other teachers and learners as well.

These things I've mentioned are very important matter to know

especially for us as a pre-service teacher who's need become
observant for all the circumstances that is happening inside the
school. When it comes in the classroom, I also noticed that my
cooperating teacher which is Ma'am Maria Lanie Andador was
also one of the nice and very kind teacher in ADES who I
admired most not just because she was kind but also she knows
how to handle students especially in terms of their behavior
inside the classroom. I know that it's very difficult to teach
learners and also to enforce discipline but my cooperating
teacher know exactly what to do to properly discipline the
learners on their behavioral manner. My reflection on the area I
observed was I can say that it's a great experience even I'd
already felt how hard to manage the learners but it's a good
start as well because through it, I am able to learn new things
every time I'm in the classroom and I already had an idea how to
bond and to teach also the learners from the best way I can.
This observation made me realized that teaching are not easy,
you'll need to be patient and you need to respect learners for
them also to respect you wholeheartedly.

 Reflection

My reflection about my field study experience and

realization was being a teacher or a pre-service teacher is
very hard to do the job which is to teach learners but also it
gave fulfillment especially when the learners already
learned from what you taught during discussion. Field
Study also taught me a lot of lessons that I will able to use
in the future. There's a lot of things to be treasured and
remembered by doing this kind of task which is observing
learners inside and outside the classroom. By means of it, I
am able to do new different things that boost my strength
and also my eagerness to become a better facilitator. This
experience also give me opportunity to have a good and
pleasant relationship with learners and also to my
cooperating teacher who guide me as well in handling
students, especially those students who really needs an
extensive understanding and patient by their teacher
because they want also to learn in school but it would never
be successful if there's no teacher or facilitator who can
motivates them to be a better individual and a better
student who can also achieved their goals in the near
future. I must say that my experiences brought me into the
reality of being a teacher that I must embrace and accept
no matter what happen because its very important and
significant aspect to be consider when you're a teacher and
I believe that those hard work will be render at the end of
the day especially when the learners already learned from
what you taught to them and I think it's the most satisfying
feeling ever.
