Conclusion
As an important macro skill, speaking needs to be learned actively whether inside or
outside the classroom. Students need to enhance their confidence in speaking even
though speaking skills are difficult for some students. Teachers need to lead students
to promote their confidence in practicing speaking using attractive, fun, and
interesting activities supported with beneficial tools which give them enjoyable
learning. Teachers can choose one of the cooperative learning methods based on
students’ needs. Using artificial intelligence is the alternative to help teachers’ quality
in teaching and learning process. Thus, Replika is appropriate to promote students’
confidence in practicing speaking. Students can practice their speaking ability based
on their proficiency levels comfortably by using Replika. Replika is not only
appropriate for high proficiency students but also suitable for low proficiency
students.
