ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947


TRAFFIC ORDER NO: 134/2024
BERMUDA RED CROSS JINGLE BELL SK

SUNDAY, DECEMBER srH, 2024


The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the Bermuda Red Cross Jingle Bell
Sk race will occur on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, between 8:30 am and 10:00 am. The following
roads will be affected:

RACE ROUTES: The race commences on Pitts Bay Road between Mill Reach Road and
Fairyland Road. The participants head North on Pitts Bay Road towards the
roundabout at the intersection of St. John's Road and Pitts Bay Road. They
exit East onto St. John's Road, turn left onto Langton Hill and then left onto
North Shore Road. The participants continue West on North Shore Road
until they reach the junction of North Shore Road, Spanish Point Road, and
St. John's Road. The participants then turn left onto St. John's Road. They
proceed to the roundabout at the intersection of St. John's Road and Pitts
Bay Road, where they continue South onto Pitts Bay Road. The participants
continue on Pitts Bay Road and turn right to proceed to the finish line at
Mill Reach Road.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: The race will commence on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at 8:30 am and is
expected to conclude by 10:00 am. Police officers and Race Marshals will
be present to direct traffic along the route. All motorists are expected to
use caution and avoid collisions with the race participants. Motorists are
asked to follow the instructions given by the Police Officers and Race
Marshals to assist with traffic control for this event.

ROAD CLOSURES: There will be no road closures for this event.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and
apologises for any inconvenience that may result. Should there be any questions regarding this
event, please direct queries to the attention of the race representative, Jenny Farrer, at 532-
2402.

In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorised to "Close off' streets or portions of
streets and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
