ViewnamesareoneofthemanyparametersinRevit. TheseareInstanceparametersandareaccessedfrom thefirstwindowofthemodelessPropertieswindow,as inImage1.6.Instanceparameterscanbesetdifferently foreachdistinctinstanceofafamily,suchasscale, name,etc. Whennamingorrenamingviews,ifthefollowing dialogueappearsthenalwayschooseYes(SeeImage1.5 onnextpage).

2BrowserViewOrganization
Thepurposeofcustomabrowserorganizationistoenablea logicalfilingmethodologytoViewsandSheetsandbreaking theseoutintosmallerlogicalandprojectspecificgroups allowsalargenumberofviewsandsheetstobemoreeasily searchedandworkedonandwith. Notallviewsareusedformodeling;someareonlyfor documentationorpresentation.Annotations,suchas dimensions,annotations,keynotes,etc.areplacedfor printingpurposesonlysotherewillbeseveralcopiesofeach planviewsetupforsuchpurposes. Mostallmodelingistobedonein"User"viewsthatwillnot goontosheets.Thereasonsforthisareseveralfold&allow independentcomponentandviewvisibilitiesproviding smoothteamworkflow.
