Here is information on how to view your insurance coverages, as well as who you are covering on your

insurance, please note: this must be done from a work computer, it cannot be done from home or on
your mobile device. At work go to https://400prod:10089/employeeServices/signin.php; This
should be done on your own time, off the clock. The default username is your 6-digit employee number
and the default password is your birthday and last four digits of your social security number. (Entered as
MMDDYYYY####. For an example: if your birthday is March 10, 1980 and the last four digits of your
social security number are 1234, you would enter the password of 031019801234). If you have trouble
logging in you will need to contact the help desk, [email protected] or by calling 208-672-
2040. After you log in there is a tab across the top that says “Insurance”, then select Coverage Amounts.

• From the SharePoint portal, click EMPLOYEE SERVICES, drop

down to Employee Self-Service and log in.

• From the Insurance tab, select Coverage Amounts.

• There is a summary of your benefits under Coverage Amounts:

• You can view your insurance premiums under Insurance Premiums:

There are also tables to view your Active Dependents and voluntary benefits as well.

Here are a couple of points to be aware of as you check out your benefits:

• Voluntary Life Insurance that requires underwriting (a medical questionnaire)

do not reflect updated coverage amounts until that process has been approved
by our life insurance provider.

• Please review Flexible Spending benefit elections carefully. If you signed up

for Dependent care, but have no children with day care expenses (meaning,
you signed up accidentally when you actually meant to sign up for the
healthcare FSA), you must notify Benefits immediately by e-mailing
[email protected].

• Finally… and this is VERY IMPORTANT! – as the information in ESS grows

more ROBUST, each employee is strongly encouraged to update their
existing passwords to something more private. This is especially important to
safeguard your personal information and that of your dependents. Employees
should only access their own ESS profile.

• DO NOT SHARE PASSWORDS OR ACCESS ANOTHER EMPLOYEE’S

INFORMATION ON THE ESS!
