I) Vocabulary: IN THE KITCHEN
1. What’s in the kitchen?

(The teacher can teach students the words one by one. After that, show this
whole picture to review for students)
2. Things we use in the kitchen
3. Things we use for eating and drinking

4. Short conversation:
a) A: Where can I find a mug/ a cloth/ some kitchen paper?
B: They are in the cupboard.
b) A: Can I help with the washing-up/ cooking?
B:Yes, please. You can dry the plates/ You can cook some rice.
c) A: Where does this cup/ plate/ frying pan go?
B: Put it in this cupboard, please.

Game 1:
1) The teacher will ask play in pairs to say “True” or “False”.
Who’s faster is the winner.
a) I use a frying pan to drink out of.
b) You use washing-up liquid to clean plates.
c) The fridge is cold inside.
d) The fridge is colder than the freezer.
e) I turn on the tap to get water.
f) A tea towel is for making tea.
