Topic 1: Addressing the dire humanitarian needs that have arisen out of the crisis in
Sudan
Greetings to the honorable chair and esteemed delegates,
Ladies and gentlemen the Sudan as we witness today should not be the Sudan of the future,
People suffering today should not suffer tomorrow,
Children dying today should not die tomorrow.
Honourable delegates, I hope we all share the same dream and will contribute to achieving
this dream.
Ladies and gentlemen Article 3 of the Geneva Convention is a provision governing matters
involving internal armed conflicts or civil wars,
But what we are witnessing today is a clear violation of these laws, as per the Final report of
the Panel of Experts on Sudan established by resolution 1591 (2005) in accordance with
resolution 2676 (2023).
States
an estimated 12,000 people had been killed since the beginning of the
conflict in the Sudan.
approximately 6.8 million people both internally and externally displaced,
an estimate of 10,000 and 15,000 people were killed in El Geneina alone. With approximately
4.7 million internally displaced persons,

The conflict has caused food insecurity, with more
than half of the population in Darfur facing acute hunger with women and children being
subject to increased sexual violence and other violations, including child rights violations.
We the United States of America are alarmed by the humanitarian situation in the state of
Sudan,
We Urge all the nations to contribute to the 2.7 Billion dollar aid goal set by the UN,
We Urge the neighboring nations to provide basic needs to the refugees entering their
countries,
We Urge ICRC to set up more camps to give medical assistance to the people of Sudan,
We strictly condemn any action by armed groups against any of the International Laws and
conventions protecting the rights of civilians.
Thank you.
Topic 2:- How the internal aggression in Sudan is causing a threat to neighboring
states?
Greetings to the Honourable Chair and esteemed delegates,
We, the United States of America, are deeply concerned about the profound impact that the
internal conflict in Sudan is having on the international community. Millions of people have
been displaced, creating a dire refugee crisis. Many more remain uncounted in states such as
Jeddah and Eritrea.
We urgently call upon all neighboring countries to open their borders to these refugees and
provide them with their basic needs. The United States of America pledges to provide
financial assistance to all nations taking in refugees.
We also strongly urge all countries that have not yet ratified the 1951 United Nations
Convention on Refugees to do so, enabling them to receive vital assistance from the
international community.
Moreover, we are alarmed by reports of various entities exploiting the conflict in Sudan for
personal gain. For instance, the Wagner Group, a mercenary organization from Russia, has
been supplying arms to warring factions, fulling violence and causing deaths of thousands of
people.
We condemn any private individuals, corporations, or countries that are supplying or funding
this war.
We call upon all nations to adhere to the provisions in the New York Declaration for Refugees
and Migrants, demonstrating our collective commitment to protecting those who are most
vulnerable.
Thank you.
Topic 3: Discussing a permanent solution for the political instability and transition in
Sudan
Greetings Honourable Chair and Esteemed delegates,
"Peace cannot exist without justice, justice cannot exist without fairness, fairness cannot exist
without development, development cannot exist without democracy."
Ladies and Gentlemen as we all know Sudan has always been a politically unstable country
Performing Coup and overthrowing leaders has almost become a customary practice in
Sudan,
Ladies and gentlemen we all know how important a good government to a country is
A government that gives rights to people and not take them,
A government that hears people's needs and not silence them,
A government which capable of protecting its people and not letting them die,
Ladies and Gentlemen, As we witness today a failed effort to assist Sudan to become a
democracy,
We should not give up, we should not give up for the sake of the people of Sudan,
We the United States of America propose a phase-wise solution for this issue,
Phase 1: Form a Special law committee to draft a constitution which adheres to all
international laws,
Phase 2:-Conduct State and federal elections, and provide the people the right to vote
Phase 3:- to curb further coups in the territory, we the United States shall guarantee military
power to a democratically elected government, only if it adheres to all international laws and
conventions.
Thank you.
Topic 4:- Discussion on Whether there is an element of terrorism or the situation is
limited to a rogue paramilitary force gaining traction and causing internal disruption.
