POSITION-
DATA Data Scientist
SCIENTIST

Responsibility

• Design, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze “big
data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services/ product
enhancement.
• Build prescriptive analysis to estimate product feature impact.
• Developing & implementing data scraping, data cleaning/processing, and Artificial Intelligence
(Natural Language Processing, algorithms to analyze system design and open defect
• Actively engaging in Research & Development (R&D) projects to solve top data analytics challenges
in the given Industry.
• Interact with product/service teams to identify questions for data analysis and experiments.
• Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate,
and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
• Identify meaningful insights from large data sources. Interpret and communicate insights/ findings
from analysis/experiments to product, service, and business managers.
• Build data pipelines to set the foundation for data analysis. Build data visualization/dashboards to
provide data insights for decision-making.
• Create business cases to identify business opportunities.
• Identify product optimization opportunities through instrumentation and product funnel analysis.
• Conduct financial planning and forecasting.

Position requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.


• Modeling using demand forecasting tools such as Python Packages, Demantra and statistical tools
such as the R or Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
• Data modeling to support business report creation SQL and BO
• Production support capability with the following systems: an enterprise resource planning system
such as SAP, Enterprise Data Warehouse systems (EDW), and Bill of Material (BOM) management
• SAS or R Statistical Modeling
• Competency in data visualization and developing dashboards.
• Competency in designing, querying, and integrating with relational and/or graph databases.
• Experience in algorithm design, development, and implementation
• Linear programming, optimization
• Strong and confident communication/presentation skills
